Oh my goodness did he come! First, we decided to go over to my friend lucy's house and drop off some of Abbi's toys she wanted to give to her friend nalia for christmas. It was so nice to bring some christmas cheer into someone's life that has had alot of hard times. Even if it just brought her a little more joy we were happy to do it.
Christmas morning.....My mother went way overboard this year with gifts but Abbi and Jenna did not mind. They spent so much time opening gifts and playing with toys. It was so great, we have so many toys now its insane.
We left my moms house and went home to open our gifts to one another. We or rather "santa" got Abbi a princess vanity mirror set with princess play makeup and play ballerina clothes in a cute trunk along with a disney fairy camera and for Jenna we got a few books including a finger puppet book and toys. John and i had decided to not buy each other gifts this year so we could concentrate on the kids and getting them things.. but john did do something for me he made me a beautiful bracelet from the shells that Abbi and I collected from the beach on our vacation- i have such a thoughtful husband. It was the perfect gift.
Later that afternoon we went to grandma's and papa's and had dinner and opened gifts. Abbi and Jenna got more new clothes and toys and John and I got clothes and games. It was so much fun spending time with family! By the time the evening rolled around i was feeling feverish again so we left and spent a quiet evening at home. We had such a good Christmas even though we were fighting colds. We feel so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends!

Hi there! Thanks for the comment. We went to see my family in CA right after her birthday and she had to sleep in twin beds for about 2 weeks, so when we got home we figured she could handle a toddler bed and she did great. Is Abby in a toddler bed? Katie refuses to put Ella in one until she absolutely has to, but we haven't had any problems. How are you guys, btw?
