Jenna is 3 months old!

Jenna turned 3 months old on June 8th. She is getting soo big, already the weight and height of a 5 1/2 month old. She smiles alot and now is trying to roll over. She found her feet the other day so now she grabs them and curls up and trys to roll, its too cute! She LOVES her big sister (smiles whenever she sees her) and just is so much fun. She coos all the time and likes to grab anything near her to pull to her mouth...may be close to teething.

Big day for Ashley and Bryan

My sister ashley went to the temple this past friday and recieved her endowments and was sealed to bryan. We are so excited for her! She was very nervous and the day was a whirlwind, but it was fun. Congrats ashley and bryan!

Home sweet home

We finally closed on our home! We are so glad to finally be over that hurdle, it was soooo stressful down to the last minute! Our closing was pushed off a day and then they were going to delay it again until next week because of some title issues because it was a foreclosed home, but thankfully not. The closing was supposed to be at 3:00 but then the attorney's office called and pushed it up to 2:00, all of us barely made it there. We closed on friday 6/1/07. We are going to spend the next few weeks painting and getting our house in canton packed for the big move in about 2 weeks! We will be dallas bound again soon. It seems like dallas is the place to be lately, alot of people we know have moved there and mom and dad shores will be soon joining us and sarah out there. Well i guess we will just have to have a big party to celebrate!

Memorial Day fun

Memorial Day weekend was a busy weekend for us, we hung out at aunt sarah's pool during the late morning/ early afternoon and then had BBQ at aunt jo's. After that aunt sarah was kind enough to watch the girls so we could go over to our friend's megan and shane johnston's house for an all day get together. They live in this really nice neighborhood in dallas/acworth called Bentwater it has 5 pools and a golf course so when we got there the boys golfed while the girl's layed out at the pool. After it got dark everyone met up at the johnston's for some pizza and cookie cake. Megan told everyone (who didn't already know) she was pregnant! Megan and shane were in our wedding as a groomsman and bridesmaid for all those who did'nt know.

Pool Fun

Over the past few weekends its been nice and sunny outside so abbi has been going swimming almost every weekend. She loves being outside, i think i have taken her to the park everyday during the week. A few weekends ago we went to grandma and grandpa's and swam.. their pool was not open yet so we settled for a blow up one they bought. Here are some of the pics from that day. My dad is too funny- he had to get in there with her lol!

Abbi's 2nd birthday

Abbi just turned two last week and we had lots of fun celebrating! We went out to dinner for mexican on her actual birthday and the waiters and waitresses all sang to her and brought her a dessert. She loved it when they all sang to her, she yelled "yea! yea!" and lit up- it was great. She also had a birthday party on saturday where she got lots of gifts and played with her cousin and another little girl from church who came with her parents. We had a happy feet themed party because she is in love with mumble..she says it all the time when she wants to watch the movie. She had a ton of fun, thanks to everyone for all the gifts and to all those who could make it for the party. Love you all!

We are buying a house!!

John and i are very excited because we are buying a house! Our lease is up on our house we are renting in canton at the end of june so we have been house hunting, we were at first looking in kennesaw and acworth area but we ended up going through a subdivision in dallas called Vista Lake and i immediately fell in love with it. It is a few minutes down 278 by sarah's. The nieghborhood has a huge junior olympic size pool, tennis courts, nature trails, and an actual lake in the back of the subdivision with a pavillion that people who live in the subdivision can boat on and fish! We went through several homes in the neighborhood that were all foreclosed and after a stressful almost 2 months of bidding and getting outbid on 3 homes we finally won the bid on the 4th and last forclosure available in the neighborhood. Its a great 2100 sq. foot home with 4 bdr. 2 1/2 baths. It does need some work on the inside (paint and some minor cosmetic repairs) and a new garage door on one side but other than that it looks like its going to be a great home. It was listed for $203,000 but we ended up getting it for 30,000 less than what it was listed- what a steal!

Fun at monkey joe's!

I was talking to a friend from church a few weeks ago and she told me about a place called monkey joe's. It is a huge indoor play place place where there are big inflatated slides and moonwalks for kids to jump and play on. We decided that we would take abbi there instead of the park since there was bad weather over the weekend and it was a ton of fun! Abbi was VERY scared at first, she would not leave our sides but after john took her down a few slides she could not stop smiling and was running everywhere, it was great. She was worn out for the rest of the weekend after we left, it was great! Here are a few of the good pics...

Baby Jenna is here

I know this may be a bit late in posting, but hey when you have two kids its hard to get much done. Better late than never :) Jenna Blair Shores got here on March 8th early in the morning (what is it with my kids and comming in the early morning?) and she weighed 9 Lbs!!! she was 21 inches long and had a head full of brown hair like her sister. She was very easy to deliver, mommy had an epidural and coasted through labor. We are so happy she is here, we are grateful to everyone for all of the gifts, thoughts, prayers.. we hope everything is going great in your lives.
